1. Registration Information

CoachLink categorizes users of our site into two groups: registered users and visitors. Registered users are people who have registered with and accepted our Member Agreement and/or our Coach Agreement. Visitors are people who visit our Web site, but who have not yet registered to use the CoachLink service. Registered users of CoachLink are further broken down into coaches (service providers) and members (consumers of services), although a registered user can certainly be both a member and a coach. Coaches provide additional information as part of the registration process.

Member Registration: Our site's registration form requires members to give us contact information (e.g., name and email address), except where such information was previously provided to CoachLink.net. We may use contact information from your registration form to send information about our company or to contact members when necessary to administer the site. We use credit card information, when provided, to bill coaches for membership fees. CoachLink.net uses a third party to process credit cards for billing purposes. This third party does not store or retain any of a member's personally identifiable information.

Coach Registration: Our site's coach registration form also requires coaches to give us contact information (name, mailing address, phone number and email address). In addition, coaches provide profile information (such as background, certifications, credentials, qualifications, and experience) that is publicly displayed to registered users. We use contact information from the registration form to send information about our company or to contact coaches when necessary to administer the service. We use credit card information, when provided, to bill coaches for any CoachLink value added services they may choose. CoachLink uses a third party to process credit cards for billing purposes. This third party does not store or retain any of a member's personally identifiable information.

Promotions: We may use registered users' personal information to deliver promotional information that is targeted to registered users' specific interests. By registering for the CoachLink services, you agree that CoachLink may provide your account information to third parties in order to comply with appropriate law enforcement inquiries or other lawful requests.

2. Coach-Member Communication

Coaches and members can negotiate, enter into an agreement and interact (i.e., discuss advice and services) in person, by telephone or through web sites hosted by CoachLink Certain communications may be recorded and maintained by CoachLink, as further described below. CoachLink does not monitor, screen or edit the content of any communications between members and coaches. However, CoachLink may delete postings in the Public Bulletin Board area, as stated below.

Such communications are personal and private unless both parties agree to additional distribution, which is deemed to occur when either party initiates an interaction through the "Public Bulletin Board" area, or if both parties give permission to include such interactions in a Q&A Repository or something similar, as stated below. When either party initiates an interaction through the " Public Bulletin Board " area, all communication between member and coach (es) before a member "hires" a coach is publicly viewable by all CoachLink registered users and visitors. "Hire" refers to when a member selects a coach to deliver advice or services for a fee.

Coach-Member Negotiation

Direct question to Coach (es):

A member engages a coach by selecting one or several Coaches and posting a description of his/her (the member's) requirements, questions, project or request for proposal on CoachLink.net. Coaches reply with information including pricing, availability, and possibly a brief response and supporting documents to the member.

Public Questions:

When a member or coach initiates an interaction through the " Public Bulletin Board" area, all communication, including uploaded documents, between member and coach (es) before a member "hires" a coach is publicly viewable by all CoachLink.net registered users and visitors.

Coach-Member Agreement: Members and coaches may reach agreement on a budget or price, a medium for fulfillment, and a schedule for interaction. We may disclose information in a registered user's account file, including previous and current interactions, to assist registered users in resolving their disputed transactions.

3. Publicly Accessible Information

This site makes "Public Bulletin Board" areas available to its registered members and to its visitors. Please remember that any information disclosed in these areas becomes public information. Registered members should exercise caution when deciding to disclose their personal information.

Public Bulletin Board Postings: Members may choose to post questions, projects, or requests for proposal to the "Public Bulletin Board" area. All postings, and uploaded documents, are public to all CoachLink.net registered users and visitors until the question reaches its expiration date. This includes any communication (including questions, request for proposals, uploaded documents, and negotiation) between the member and coach (es). CoachLink reserves the right to delete postings in this area at its sole discretion.

Ratings and Feedback: Following all coach-member interactions, both parties may be given an opportunity to rate and to provide feedback on the other party. These ratings may be made accessible to all registered users and visitors at CoachLink.net. Members may be asked to rate their coach on the quality of the interaction and whether he/she would use the coach again. Members may also be provided with a general comments form. In the event that it is entered by the member, this information may be added to the coach's profile, and may contribute to the development of the coach's aggregate rating.

Publicly Available Questions and Answers: CoachLink may post questions and answers (including all uploaded files) from any member. The interaction will remain private until both parties give permission to make it public. Unless member and/or coach notify CoachLink, in the manner directed on the Site, that a Q&A interaction should be kept private, both parties agree that CoachLink shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to:

a. Post, or refuse to post, all or any part of a Q&A to publicly accessible areas of the Site
b. Remove personally identifiable content from any Q&A;
c. Screen, edit or otherwise modify any Q&A; and
d. Take any other use of the Q&A, including without limitation any use on or off the Site for promotional purposes.

4. Other Information

Aggregated Information: We may use some of the information collected from registered users and visitors about their use of the sites and services in aggregate form to improve our marketing and promotional efforts. This information does not identify individuals. We also may use the information to improve our products and services through things such as allowing customization of our site's layout and content.

IP Address: Our Web site logs IP addresses for systems administration purposes, such as to help diagnose problems with our server or to administer our Web site and to track usage patterns on Sites hosted by CoachLink. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.

Correspondence: If you send us emails or letters, or if other registered users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the site, we may retain such information in your account file, although we have no obligation to do so.

5. Our Affiliates

Affiliate Partners: CoachLink.net has relationships with many Affiliate Web sites who link to our Web site. We provide aggregate information about usage patterns (e.g., traffic patterns or services purchased) to these Affiliate Web sites. In addition, we may provide registered users' contact information to Affiliate Partner from which a user comes to CoachLink.net and registers with us.

In addition, we record the Affiliate Web site from which a visitor has linked. If a visitor registers to become a member and/or coach, the referring Affiliate's name is recorded and attached to the member and/or coach registration. This information may lead to payment back to the Affiliate for providing a new customer to CoachLink.

Third-Party Links: This site contains links to other sites, including but not limited to its Affiliate Partners. CoachLink is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.

6. Use of Cookies

We use a feature of your browser to set "cookies" on registered user and visitor computers. A cookie can contain information, such as a user ID, which our web site uses to track the pages registered users and visitors have visited. This allows us to measure and collect aggregate information about usage on our site. In addition, cookies enable registered users to enter their passwords less frequently during a session. Cookies alone cannot be used to find out the identity of any registered user; the only personal information a cookie can contain is information that registered users and visitors voluntarily supply themselves. Registered users and visitors can refuse cookies by turning them off in their browsers; however, those who do so will not be able to use the CoachLink.net site at this time. Cookies are stored on registered users' and visitors hard drives, not on the CoachLink.net site. Most cookies are "session cookies," which are automatically deleted at the end of a session.

7. Use of Information Available through CoachLink.net

To facilitate communication among members and coaches, CoachLink provides e-mail addresses to members and coaches only under specific circumstances, including but not necessarily limited to participants involved in disputed and unpaid transactions. By signing the Member Agreement, members also agree to use the Public Bulletin Board area exclusively for interaction associated with CoachLink services and their delivery. Registered users may not use information gathered through a CoachLink transaction to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal and civil rights of any other registered user. Registered users may not use information gathered through a CoachLink-brokered transaction to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose outside the scope of the CoachLink service. Email addresses and personal information may not be used to forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters, or to post the same message repeatedly (a practice commonly referred to as "spamming"). CoachLink may terminate the ability of any member or coach to use the CoachLink service

8. Security We Provide

We use security measures, such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and firewalls, to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of your personal information under our control. Personally identifiable information that you provide is stored in a secure database, which is designed to prevent unauthorized access. By using this site, you understand and agree that you may only access information stored in your account, but not all information regarding your use of the site.

Credit card data you enter is transmitted across the Internet using a secure form of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This helps to protect the data from unauthorized access and tampering during transmission.

9. Correcting or Updating Your Information

Registered users may change and modify certain personally identifiable information previously provided to CoachLink at any time within their personalized My Personal Link area.
